Oushak

Oushak rugs (also spelled Ushak) are iconic hand-knotted Turkish rugs originating from the town of Ushak in western Anatolia. Dating back to the 15th century, they were highly prized during the Ottoman Empire and frequently appear in Renaissance paintings as symbols of wealth and status.
